Banners click opens blank page

When the banners are clicked from the system module they only open the requested site about 30% of the time. Normally they just open a blank page. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

Is there a pattern to this problem? i.e.: Does it only happen on certain banners? If so, could you paste the code to one of those banners here?

Yes, this happens to me too!

Here are some sample URLS I get:

http://www.ussjaguar.org/essays-xeno.html
turns into:
http://sfi.org/portal/banners.php?op=click&bid=21

and

http://www.sfi.org/banners/itrek_banner_ad.gif
turns into:
http://sfi.org/portal/banners.php?op=click&bid=23

Sometimes the links work, sometimes they bring up a blank page. YOu can see more athttp://www.sfi.org/portal/.

Is there any way to fix this?

I have looked for a pattern, but have not found one. It happens on all banners. I have re-installed the system module. Replaced all banners, turned them on/off you name it. I have never modified the banner code either. Thanks for taking the time to think about it!

I am in the process of building my site and am also having this problem - I currently only have one banner on the site. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't (instead taking me to http:....clickandbid=4 (a blank page).
Any Help much appreciated.
