define("_AM_DBUPDATED",_MD_AM_DBUPDATED); constant.

I'm trying to figure out what this constant is and what it does. The odd thing about this constant is that it _MD_AM_DBUPDATED without single or double quotes. I'm using language tool and this constant does break all translation files.

Will it cause any hidden problems if I:

1: Remove this constant
or
2: Put _MD_AM_DBUPDATED as '_MD_AM_DBUPDATED'
or
3: Put _MD_AM_DBUPDATED as "_MD_AM_DBUPDATED"

Thanks

In XOOPS 2.2.3a-final, it's defined in modules/system/language/english/admin.php:

define('_MD_AM_DBUPDATED','Database Updated Successfully!');

If you change that definition, or remove it, that shouldn't have any effect other than displaying the wrong message, and possibly causing some PHP "notices".

Sorry for not writing that this was in XOOPS 2.0.13.2 system/language/english language file definitions

grep -R "_MD_AM_DBUPDATED" {xoopsroot}/modules/system/language/english/*

admin/version.php:define("_AM_DBUPDATED",_MD_AM_DBUPDATED);
admin/blocksadmin.php:define("_AM_DBUPDATED",_MD_AM_DBUPDATED);
admin/banners.php:define("_AM_DBUPDATED",_MD_AM_DBUPDATED);
admin/smilies.php:define('_AM_DBUPDATED',_MD_AM_DBUPDATED);
admin/users.php:define("_AM_DBUPDATED",_MD_AM_DBUPDATED);
admin/preferences.php://define("_AM_DBUPDATED",_MD_AM_DBUPDATED);
admin/groups.php:define("_AM_DBUPDATED",_MD_AM_DBUPDATED);
admin/mailusers.php:define("_AM_DBUPDATED",_MD_AM_DBUPDATED);
admin/userrank.php:define("_AM_DBUPDATED",_MD_AM_DBUPDATED);
admin.php:define('_MD_AM_DBUPDATED','Database Updated Successfully!');

So only admin.php has the one that you have mentioned for 'Database Updated Successfully!', all other files do have this _MD_AM_DBUPDATED. That's what I was curious about, and that's what my question was, to why the first lines in admin side was always:

define("_AM_DBUPDATED",_MD_AM_DBUPDATED);
