Ok I'm needing a module that I can post tutorials to and then apply a graphical 'difficulty' rating.

As there doesn't appear to be any such module (PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong) I figured I could modify AMS 2.41 to fit...

It already has a rating system however could someone tell me how easy the following would be:

a) Set it so ONLY the administrator can 'rate' the article.

As the module stands anyone can rate articles, which could cock up the whols idea of a diffiulty rating!

b) Set it so the publisher is able to rate his article.

At the moment it says 'publisher cannot rate own article' when I'm trying to add a rating, and so it'd mean I'd have to logout, login as another admin, then rate, then logout and in again - it's not desperate - just an annoying niggle!

It should be possible to find the condition that advises you not to review your own material and remove it.

Aye I thought that'd be the easy part!

Do you want to have a stab at a) ?

I guess if I knew whereabouts the code that allows people to rate is, I could possibly swap it so ONLY the admin/publisher can and thus kill two birds?

Does anyone know who wrote AMS? Is it still being actively developed?
