I just found this thread and was wondering if any more planning or preparation has been done? I would consider attending again. I think a separate non-fosdem space worked well last year and could again. But if there are going to be more people and more presentations, then dividing things up between developer presentations and site-management presentations may be beneficial. Perhaps that means an actual space at Fosdem with a developer room would be the right way to go (but it may be too late for that again).

I think we would not have enough personal anyway to split things up into two happenings, don´t you? Even if there were quite a lot of people last year from reports.

who is going in Brussels ?
where can we do our XOOPSdem ?
I don't know what it's necessary to do but hope we can meet more Xoopser than the past year.
What can we do for this ???

If it's a saturday I'll come But I haven't got the time to organise things. I can check to see if the Foundation can make a contrinution tho. Catering last year was ok-ish... dinner was good

FOSDEM 2006 will take place in Brussels during week-end Feb 25&26 (saturday and sunday)
I think the better day is the saturday, so it's ok for the dinner
Have you a special contact in Brussels university ?
did somebody reserve a room ?

Last year I booked a room at the VUB via the internet:http://lokbpc2.vub.ac.be:8000/

Catering I reserved there as well. All in all it wasn't that expensive, but it wasn't that easy to be found either...

At the time I also checked for several other localtion, let me see if I can find some info about them. I know one location in the center that would be really cool, but last year was already booked.
