Help me in solving this error please???

Hi,

Each time I try to edit my profile I get this message

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/content/a/b/c/name/html/class/theme.php on line 499.

I tried to make a new registration, and I got the same message, I change the theme that I'm using and I still have the same problem.

Any help please??

Hi.

I was having a similar problem myself.

I looked around XOOPS site and found this FAQ:
https://xoops.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=329

Unfortunately this was not the case for me, it seems that my problem was related to the welcome new user function in CBB (I think) so I just disabled this funtion and so far the problem seems to have gone.

The FAQ may provide you with some useful info.

Thanks alot dickinsd,

Unfortunatly the FAQ did not help me solving it. I hope someone can guide me to find a solution to this big problem cause no one can register to my site.

I also have error

Fatal error: Undefined class name 'newsstory' in /home/vivahub/public_html/viath/modules/spotlight/admin/index.php on line 40

Help pls..

I solved it by installing extended profiles.

the problem is in your module make sure that your module is correct and no erros in admin area.. if errors still the same try to download the latest module for spotlight

when exporting an sql file, your XOOPS_DB_PREFIX can change from all upper case: QW4RF

to lower case: qw4rf

At least that's what gave me this error
