Hello,

My start module is the news module therefore my site url is http://www.url.xx/modules/news.
My question is this : is there a way to change that to http://www.urlofmysite.xx

If you search "mod_rewrite" in this site, you will get the answer.

For short, just use Simplified URLs Hack and set the news module as the start up page.
