I keep getting a blank page whenever I try to access the admin area of CBB.
the error message I get on PHP debug is:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare newbb_message() in /opt/lampp/htdocs/teamshare/modules/newbb/include/functions.php on line 32

I am running XOOPS 2.2.2 and cbb 2.2 on a lampp system with php5. This is my test server.

Funny thing is, my live server has exactly the same XOOPS setup as my test system, and that works fine... I even overwrote the module files of cbb from my live server to my test, and this did nothing to help me.

Can anyone shed some light on this??

I can't remember exactly but I think CBB uses some hard coded references to xoopspath. Try updating CBB it should update references to your xoopsroot.

I did this, and it made no difference.
I uninstalled CBB, downloaded and installed a clean version of cbb and deleted my templates, but still did the same thing.

I have just tried to install CBB 2.3 on a fresh install of XOOPS and still get the following error:-

The only workaround I have found for this is to comment out line 32 of functions.php,

Same issue.
I am running on windows 2003 server OS though.
I have tried updating, reloading etc. etc. and your "comment out" action works the same for me. But it also chunks after one successful entry into admin area.

HELP! someone...anyone lol

This totally fried the entire admin section of the site.

I placed the "endif;" at the very end after the last "}" and before the "?>" and I also tried a few placements just after the first "if" call you suggested. Wrong placement?
