Hi,

I'm using PP-News module for send newslatters to all users but now i can't send to all, only send to 300 - 315 user.

I don't know if this module based on php mailer of XOOPS and how i can let it send email to all users ?

I'm not sure if this cause the problem.

But your user doesn't provide valid email add. or user disable notification. something like that... Do u use email validation in registration?

It may be because your webhost puts a cap on the number of emails you can send at once (a spam precaution)

Many webhosts like you to keep within a certain number of emails sent per hour.

I have a newsletter that goes out to around 2000 people. I'm using PHP List to stagger the sending of emails in batches of 150 per hour.

It takes a little setting up but is good once you get used to it.

Yes! it's mailing policy:
"There is a 200 hourly pop email limit per domain this limit is also applied towards mailman. If you send over this amount in any hour most of the e-mails will bounce back with a undeliverable error."

but i don't know if PP-News module can continue send remain emails each hour !!

I'd recommend using PHP list.

It's free and effective.

You can import a long list of email addresses (and other info if you like) into the PHP List DB and get started easily.

It's not XOOPS but will allow you to get around your webhost's email limit and send your newsletter.
