Hello

My Manager wishes to have a Resume' tracker so he can keep track of all the applications we receive at work and later be able to sort through the Applicants and keep track of them.

Are there any modules that can be used to do so or similar thing?

Thanks

Depending on the level of detail and data entry you are looking for, two modules come to mind... Formulize and Document Management System (DMS).

Visit the above links for more information on each module. Hope this helps.

Hi Jmorris, thank you for pointing me out at these two modules.

I was thinking what will make a good Resume' tracker and...

Well it will actually be more of a file manager as the Resume is already typed up by the applicant and there is no reason to retype it into a database.

So ideally, an entry in the resume tracker will have the resume' attached as a file, and a few searchable descriptive fields such as position, name, data and such.

Any ideas on a module that manages files that is searchable?

If you're running on a *NIX system, DMS offers this level of functionality. Please read the documentation for DMS for more details.

Best Regards,
