After I installed XOOPS the I found that the date next to my name in the New Members block shows 1969/12/31. I checked with the host and the server's time is set correctly.

How do I correct the time?

Have you received any replies or Pm's on this? I have a similar problem. I've reset my server time and established it's basis as Eastern US, yet my site still shows 1 hour 9 minutes fast... very weird...

What version of XOOPS are you using?
What do you have the time zone set to in System Preferences?
What Operating System, PHP version, and MySQL version is your web server using?

Best Regards,

yep I have a simlar problem, the only way i was able to solve it was to set the XOOPS time as UTC (or londond time) and have my server set up with the correct time.

as no one see's the XOOPS time it doesn't bother my users.

Cheers,
Dean
