just installed wamp to run XOOPS on my local pc, mainly for template development, and i get alot of php erros:

Most likely relates to the version of PHP installed by WAMP. What version of PHP are you using?

Yes that is the problem. I noticed that WAMP has a PHP4 addon.

If the scripts are running o.k. just turn debug off and ignore them.

Edit your php.ini and set allow_call_time_pass_reference = true

Tried that but to no joy.

Since its only for template testing i think its ok that i just turn the debugging off, as WarDick said
