I have read 100s of posts on the topic of I cant login and XOOPS session problems... But none work...

My site was working fine last night now this morning i log in it says welcome..... takes be back...but i still see login block and Site says Welcome, Guest....

I cleared and repaired the xoops_sessions tables....I cleared cache and templates_c folder...and im still getting same problem.

check firewall header referrals.. make sure cookies are enabled in your browser, make sure they aren't blocked.

No...not a firewall or cookies issue...this must be a XOOPS issue as no one that has an account can login to my site.

I can login to this site and 8 other XOOPS sites just fine including another 1 i run. Just this 1 site.

yup was kickassamd

hmm you def have a problem on the other 1.. i get blank page after submitting registration..

maybe some files corrupted during upgrade.

i see you're using x-ipb 1.4I tho, maybe check the core files have copied over correctly..

i'll go do a test on my server now with it just to make sure.

Hi mate,

I had the same issue 2 days ago and I have found the solution to the problem (Thanks to TedSmith).

Logon to your control panel "Cpanel" and then to your MySQL and then to Myphpadmin (or whatever you have it called on your cpanel) and look into your Databais for xoops_session try to empty this table. (Do NOT Drop it) just simply empty it and everything will be just fine :)

thanks to him my webpage is working just fine now Saudi4x4

have checked x-ipb1.4I out and no errors in registration or login at all on my 2.0.13.1 site..

i think maybe the core files mightn't have copied over correctly.. let me know if u have a problem with it.
