Hi All,

Why does 2.2 not show the Inbox link in the user Menu?

I think it's clutter to have the PM module show in the main menu for this function, and since it's User specific, it should move back to the User Menu.

The inbox link in the user menu is fixed in the 2.2.1 version.

To hide the private messaging link in the main menu give it a weight of 0 in the modules administration page.

How do you get it to show in 2.2.1?

It's not working on my site....

Hmm, seems like the Template set did not use the new one from Default, even though there was no one generated in the template set used.

Is this new behavior, that non-default template sets does not 'auto-use' the default template set?

2.0 did so, and the cool thing was that only modified templates needed to be in a custom template set...

If you use a cloned template set you always have to delete and regenerate changed templates manually, or generate nonexistent templates.

I just upgraded from 2.2 to 2.2.1 by replacing all the files except for mainfile.php. I still don't have a Inbox under user menu. Is there something else I need to do. I am using the deafult template set so there is no generating of templates to be done. Thanks for the help.

Update the System module.

We will work on a more long-term viable solution for adding items to the User menu, which is currently hard-coded - not as dynamic as we want.

I upgraded from 2.0.13 -> 2.2 -> 2.2.2 -> 2.2.3 (RC1)

And I did update system module, but still have no inbox in usermenu and users can't change password in profile... how come?

I'm using a cloned template, is that whats giving trouble?

Intalled profiles again - users are now able to change password.

Still no inbox in usermenu - That really dosn't matter, but it would be nice if the Private message link in the mainmenu did show if theres any new pm's - is this possible?
