I had Recette successfully installed on my web site and it suddenly disappeared. This is the message I get:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class newsstory in /home/epicure1/public_html/modules/news/class/class.newsstory.php on line 31
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: query in file modules/statistics/include/hitcounter.php line 64
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: fragment in file modules/statistics/include/hitcounter.php line 68

Would anyone be able to tell me how to straighten this out? I would have checked on the module creator's site, but my skills at French are nonexistent.

I made a mistake when I said that I haven't upgraded any modules. I have upgraded the News Module. Could this be causing the conflict, and how can I fix it?

The new News module and the Recipe module CANNOT co-exist on your site at present.

I may be wrong, but it looks like a modified news module.

You may be better perhaps using AMS?

Definitely. Thanks, David.

And to anyone reading this, please don't get me wrong. I LOVE XOOPS! IMO it is the premier CMS and I have nothing but the utmost respect for the developers and this community. I'm just frustrated because the problem occured on a cooking site, so the Recette module is of the utmost importance.

hmmm.....i?m pretty shure that a savvy programmer could find a fix for that maybe cloning/rewriting the class somehow....

Anyone????
I guess XOOPS deserves a module like that.

I just installed Recette on XOOPS 2.0.12a with News 1.3 and it's functioning OK, so far.

Hello all,

I just tried to load the recette onto my website and I totally lost my admin page. I tried to load it into the administration page to to view it and see what I needed to load it onto my main system,,,but... I received this error..

Notice [PHP]: Use of undefined constant _MI_RECETTE_LNK - assumed '_MI_RECETTE_LNK' in file modules/recette/admin/menu.php line 40

I downloaded the latest version that was listed in sourceforge and I have XOOPS 2.2.1 which seems to work with several items except recette.

any help here??? by the way I do not have the news module.
