Problems after upgrading... where have my dates gone?

I recently upgraded my website to XOOPS 2.2 - and suddenly a whole pile of stuff broke. I'm working through the problems one by one, but there is a particular one I can't seem to work out - for some reason, the new site is not showing the dates on my front page for Recent Links and Recent Downloads.

For some reason, the Recent News box shows the dates correctly, but the other two Recent.. boxes don't.

Can anyone help me out here?
