Hi,
I wonder what I did wrong.
Whenever I login as admin I have to login twice.
I login as admin, click on administration menu and have no rights/access to this menu.
I login again and I can use the admin menu.

Any suggestions?
Thanxx

Had the same problem some time ago:

I installed my XOOPS on my server http:85.119.xxx.xx/site.com changed the theme... and everything worked fine until I registered my site.com domain and started working from site.com

I changed the settings in the mainfile.php and everything worked fine again.

I am pretty sure I know what the problem is, at least for my site, chiptalk. When I access it as "www.chiptalk.org" I have the problem that the first login is denied. However, when I access it as "chiptalk.org" there is no problem. Now I just have to go back and figure out how to make both behave the same way.

Okay, I found the solution. In "mainfile.php" is a field where you enter the baseaddress of the site. For me all of this was setup by Fantastico. However, it put "chiptalk.org" there, when it should have been "www.chiptalk.org". So after editing "mainfile.php", everything is fine.

No problem, anytime. I had actually noticed this before but not consistently, since I would randomly use www. and sometimes not. When I saw your thread I decided to look at this further. Its kind of sad that I can fix it but I don't really know what it does. It expected that after I added the "www." that now all logins without "www." would fail. But for some reason they still work.
