How to change Default Notification Method to email instead of private message?

I just noticed that in 2.2, the option to change it in the profile isn't there...

Never mind my post. I had to enable it in Extended Profiles...

and i mean that i want default method to be "by email" instead of private message when new user registers.

You need to go into the Extended Profile module and select "Fields" then edit each field you want to display.

you can't edit the default value there.

yeah i would like to do this also. Set the default notification method for new users to email, mine seems to be set at "temporary disabled" by default unless they chenge the drop box while registering

This is pretty important, maybe one of the developers could tell us how to do this?
Or someone who has some knowledge about these kind of things. ( i think that default value is somewhere on mySQL-database, i'm not sure )
