XOOPS version: 2.2
Theme: xmt

Problem is I can't figure out how to change the default top bar navigation menu. So far it still has "first link", "second link", "third link" at the top, which is default.

There seems to be no way, as far as I know of, to edit that navigation bar. I hope I'm overlooking something so that I know everything can be done from just the XOOPS administration.

The last thing I tried to do is edit the theme_usenav.html in the xmt directory in themes. Changing this file doesn't seem to affect anything, even when I remove the file.

Here is the site to give an example of the problem: http://www.lucasblueprints.com/

I'm still new to XOOPS and I have a feeling I'm overlooking something obvious.

You will need to edit the file theme.html in your theme folder

From speculation it looks like that includes the file I just edited. I don't get why it didn't just include it. I'll try just having that included code into that file.

Didn't intend to post twice this quickly, but I just want to update that I tried inserting that block of code into the theme.html and that didn't work either. =/

Have you turned on 'update themes and template files' in system prefs?

See, obvious thing right in front of me that I kept looking over. I'm not exactly sure why that option is there. Is it a security thing?

And thanks a lot.

you have a clear Templates_c , not a directory only the files
exemple name %%0F^0F2^0F2C1EB8%%theme.html etc... all clear.

Edit theme _usernav an change in line 19 to 22

<td><class="button" href="http://www.usuarios.lycos.es/newsoldiers">Flirst Linka>td>
                                    <
td><class="button" href="http://www.link.it">Slecond Linka>td>
                                    <
td><class="button" href="http://www.link.it">Tlhird Linka>td>
                                    <
td><class="button" href="http://www.link.it">Flourth Linka>td>

save the file

bye bye
