As part of my thesis project im currently doing a content mangement system based on XOOPS. The idea is to rewrite parts of XOOPS so fit your requirements.

Is there anywhere I can find some documentation on the XOOPS API - I tried the link under development but i somehow find the information there insuficient.
I would like some information about the class packages and about the class libary in general.

Information about the software architecture in XOOPS will also be more than welcome.

Hope there is someone out there that are able to help me.

You can perhaps use bits and pieces of useful information in a report, I made last summer

If not, you will have to be more specific in your request

Im still missing a bit more information on the architecture of the core system e.g. the packages if there is any logic in how there are build up ect.

When do you need it?
Meaning my thesis is done in a week, I have to figure out about confidentiality but I think you can get my thesis text in mid june if you are interested?

i am also looking for an API documentation myself so far, i found one in the FAQ, the db query thing... the rest, i had to look inside the source... sometimes, it gets a little bit confusing though. especially for someone like me (newbie)... a good documentation would certainly help a lot... im still asking around if there is one
