Hi,

I'm trying to use MxDirectory to create a Yellow Page listing. But in the SUBMIT A LISTNG form, the field "city","State", "Country" are pre-defined.

How can I remove the pre-define, so anyone can freely enter their information?

refer to>

Thanks.
Jeffrey.

if you have access to PhpMyAdmin or another MySQL tool go to the table xoops_xdir_links and modify the default value.

if you dont have this rights you could modify this in mysql.sql and reinstal the module

I think that the question refers to the default values in the submit form. These have not much to do with values stored already in the links table.

In order to change the default form values to blank, you should either look in the "submit form template" (if a template is used), or in the submit.php file.

I do not have access to the code of these files right now, but in one of these two the default values are set.
