Hi,

Downloaded mymedia from wolf factory, as it seems like a very good media management and presentation module.

However, uploading mymedia to the modules folder, caused:

a) the admin modules page to hide (?) some of the unused modules.

b) mymedia module is not seen either.

To check the admin page recognise the module, I removed the xoops_version file from mymedia. That caused:

a) previously "hidden" unused modules suddenly reappeared.
b) a message on the page saying mymedia module has a missing file...

All of which means something is wrong in the module I have downloaded...
Any ideas what?
How can this be fixed?
Is there another place to download a proper version of the module..?

Thanks!

Aharon

Just in case, are you shure that you?ve only upoad the "myMedia" folder, the one that?s inside of the "myMedia_beta1" folder?

I?ve installed that mod with no problems at all.
And please tell us about your XOOPS version, php version, etc.

this is always a good practice in order to help us to help

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, wcrwcr.

Did my post come across accusingly? Was not intended at all, possibly the opposite..

Anyway, the php version is 4.X and the XOOPS version is 2.0.10...

I have a nagging feeling that the file I download might be the wrong one, because it tells me that it's "File Size 672.82 KB" - but the zipped file is 238 KB. (Even when I open it's 577 KB..)

Thanks!

Aharon
