We just converted to CBB from phpBB because of the speed issues I had with all of my IE users. Since the change the forums seem to be running a little faster. But it takes 2 to 3 minutes for it to get past the log in page. What am I doing wrong or how can I fix this. I seem to be loosing members left and right because of all the speed probelms and I am just ready for it all to be in working order.

Another thing, the passowrds are not being stored and users have to log in everytime they open the page. Is there something I can do so they stay logged in?

Ok we finally figured out what it was. We were using the news and forum blocks on the front page. The forum blocks were with phpbb2 and it bogged down our server and also on the users end trying to connect with the old forum system. A very dumb mistake.

Now my only question would be the password. It's not being stored at all. The username is but not the password. What can I do to fix this probelm?

password can only saved by browser! you also can use the "remember me" hack, but that only keeps you login!
