I need to add another banner module in the admin system core. The one XOOPS have I am using it for standard 480x60 banners. I need to create another for 150x150 banners. I know how to create a banner block to put it in later but I have no clue how to clone the banner module in the admin area.

Any clues how to go about it?

Anyone who can help in this?

I have searched the forum under multiple banners but not quite sure when you have different sized banners.

Yes raygauci ... i think official banners module must be update and there are 2 important things:

1. Easy upload banners from admin area.
2. Menu box for select: standard or block

i could probably hack a 2nd banner mod to the core for 150x150, but i'll probly be shooting myself in the foot.. i seem to be taking too much on and then things are taking me longer to do as i can't find the time.

however i think there's a banner ads module somewhere which lets you control all types of banners and add clients etc.. i can't remember it's name though but it's in the repository somewhere.. (it was over a year ago when i 1st looked at it though)

I think you are refering to the module phpadsnew which is a great mod and has lots of features, but it could be a bit complicated compared to the one XOOPS have in its core.

I might try to hack another banner module if I knew exactly what files needs hacking.
