I would like to increase news module counter every time when I click on the article.
What should I modify from the codes below?

if (empty($_GET['com_id']) && $storypage == 0) {

$article->updateCounter();
}

Hello,

You don't need to modify anything, the counter is increased each time you read an article. The only exception is that the counter will not changed we you read the different pages of an article.

Bye,
Hervé

Hello Hervet. Thanks for the reply but what I want is the same news module counter hack in this xoops.org. For example, when I click on an article, the counter increases one time. However, when I refresh the same page it increases one more time, but on my web site this does not work.

Thanks...
