Hello,

Our small business recently decided to give XOOPS a try for our main website, http://www.desertgate.com. We were seeking a "low maintenance" site, and think we made the right decision.

It took us quite a while to set up things, but we feel we are just about ready to start advertising to our little town.

We would love to get some perspective from this community. What do you think of the overall layout? Any suggestions. Any comments? We hope to become a better site with your input. We are so new to this, we would really appreciate it.

It's a really nice, clear, clean and crisp site Very good layout, it's easy to find what you're looking for.
Only thing I found was, the 'Click here to make us your homepage!' needs a handover cursor, as it stays as the textinput cursor, so it doesn't look like a hyperlink. I like the 'marquee' for new members, looks very good indeed

Hi,

Nice indeed. Only the spacing in "Experience the local advantage!" is a bit messy. I use IE6 on a 1024 768 resolution.

Thanks for the commnet. Does anyone else see this problem? I don't on this end. Any other first impressions?
