Whenever I try to upload a file in a post I get the error:
MIME type not allowed image/pjpeg. This happens regardless of the case of the extension. It also happens on bmp uploads although the error is image/bmp
I'm using XOOPS 2.0.10 and newbb 2.0.2. Any help appreciated.

did you set these mime types to be allowed in your module admin? Go to admin, forum admin, edit a forum, and set the allowed extensions in 'Allowed Extensions:'*' indicates no limititations.Extensions delimited by '|'.

Is there a global settings for the entire forum. If not I assume I'll have to go through each forum and set this. Thanks for the info, there were blank.

I was wondering the same thing. like when a user uploads an avatar, if the photo is something like this:

myphoto.JPG

it will not allow the upper case ext, is there a way to change this?
