Or can someone tell me how to fix the modules so these errors don't occur at all?

Help Please,
Steve

I hate to bump my own post, but this is really getting old.

Any ideas?

I don't think so. I don't really know what you mean, but if you mean can I physically touch it no, I can't.

Re: error_log?

OK well it seems that debugging is enabled somewhere, probably php.ini I would assume. A little more info. What modules are giving the problems? Are they working or having problems?

And where are these files located that you have to delete?

Every module has the error_log file in it, and in the admin directory under that module also.

I have php deug turned on, but no errors are reported on the pages. those errors are just logged in the error_log file for every module that gets accessed.

If I delete the file it just remakes itself the next time anyone goes to the module.

Re: error_log?

What modules are they? I do not understand where these files are coming from. If your site is hosted ask your host to check php.ini and see if debugging is enabled. If so turn it off.

The names of the mosules will help. I am going for a while but will check this thread in the morning before work. I want to help but need all information you can give.

These are the main ones that really rack up the error logs

articles
myalbum
newbb
news
system
tinyevent
wfsection
xcgal
xoopsheadline
xoopsmembers
xoopspoll

But it does it, and says the same thing, in every module I use.

Here is the phpinfo.php that may help.

It is a hosted site.

Re: error_log?

Well comparing your PHP info to mine it looks the same. I checked my module folders no error_log in any. But that is the file specified by PHP to log errors to. I would ask your host and see if they have any suggestions. Other than that no idea.
