Hi there,

I really need an internal telephone directory - preferably one that can work within xoops.
I want it for use on an intranet to include employee name / department / extension number / photo of person

The simpler the better really, so that its possible to search for staff by department, by any letter in their name (if possible).

I know that there is little chance of this existing, if their is one could someone let me know?

If needs be I would be willing to pay someone to make it, could someone point me in the right direction of placing an advert for someone to design me a working module or stand alone programme?

Many thanks - sorry if your confused (Basically I just want an internal telephone directory for staff to use to get each others extension number - with a picture)

Bob, there is at least one module that will suit your needs.I will try to find it and post back.

You might also look the the new web links 0.9 module here , its in the news comments section ATM. Its complex links module really, but the readme file suggests that it can be used as a telephone directory as well.

Ok, here are some details

PhoneBook module intended for home and company intranet use. Uses a relational database for quick search, lookup and sort with easy to use and learn interface. Inlcudes easy and quick administration interface for add, update, delete of all listings. By hyperpod

There are no files ATM, so if its waht you want, you will need to help/wait for completion.
