Good day,
I have installed certain module IN ADMIN panel. When i removed (delete) the module in a module directory (not uninstall but delete), i noticed that the shadow (image with "x" icon)of this module is still in my admin panel!

These mesages are still in my panel:

Module File for class Not Found!
Module File for include Not Found!
Module File for blocks Not Found!
Module File for cache Not Found!
Module File for docs Not Found!
Module File for galerie Not Found!
Module File for images Not Found!
Module File for language Not Found!
Module File for Midi Not Found!
Module File for sql Not Found!
Module File for templates Not Found!
Module File for admin Not Found!

and the other one is:

"Module File for xoopsgallery Not Found! "

Got any idea how to remove these?

Re: **MENU and Modules

I assume by deleting you mean actually deleting the module directories. If you did not uninstall first, the database still thinks these modules exist, but the directories just cannot be found.

I recommended you re-upload the module directories, uninstall the modules in your module admin panel and then remove these module directories again.

If my assumption was not correct please let this know.

Regards,

Martijn

@wtravel: your assumptions are absolutely accurate.

If you delete the actual module folder before a 'clean uninstall' (using the function in modul admin), then XOOPS doesn't know what files and tables it stored/created, and needs to remove on uninstallation. This again will lead to headackes down the track....been there had that

ALLWAYS use the Modul Admin uninstall-function!
