HI,

I have tried everything under the sun to get the WYSIWYG editors working with NewBB. But it is always the same I end up with the standard XOOPS text input box.

What can I do to get this thing working?

for Koivi:

a. drop the entire WYSIWYG folder in the htdocs/class folder

b. then drop the .html file that comes with koivi into the htdocs/modules/system/templet folder

c. then make koivi one of the options to select in the newbb2 admin panel

thats it.

Koivi is the best editor IMO to use. I hope it becomes the standard editor for XOOPS in the near future.

Ok this is going to sound crazy.

I did as instructed and it did get the Koivi editor working in the news module. But still no luck with the NewBB.

Make sure that in Newbb 2 preferences (Module Settings), fourth option down "Form Settings" there is a list of editors that can be used with Newbb 2:

DHTML
Compact
Spaw
Html Area Editor
Koivi Editor
TineyMCE Editor
FCK editor

Highlite the ones you want to use in the list by pressing CTRL while selecting. Those selected editors should be ready for use (if installed).

HTH.

Hi, I'm in process of select a forum system to my site.

Currently I'm using Newbbex (wich I preffer over cbb 2.2 because is small in size and simple to use).
There is any way to make it work with the editor framework of XOOPS 2.2? (to integrate the Koivi)
