Hello.
I have installed XOOPS in my laptop, where I'm building a website.
I have in this laptop other websites, but they are not built wirh XOOPS.

In this laptop I have installed Appserv (Apache + MySQL + Php).

If I turn off the windows firewall of my laptop, I can see the webs that are built there from others PC of my private network (intranet).

But if I want to see the XOOPS website from other PC of my intranet, I only see the homepage, without CSS Style and the links to others pages of this website doesn't work.

Can somebody help me?

Thanks in advance,

That is likely a DNS issue. I'll guess that you have set "localhost" as the XOOPS_URL in mainfile.php. You need to change that to either the IP address or a hostname that the DNS or hosts file can resolve from the other machines.

Search the site for DNS or intranet etc.

Thanks a lot!

I have done that you tell me in your reply before.

Now, I can see the XOOPS site from other PC of my intranet.

Thre is only one thing:

- I can see the images from the database.
- But I can't see the images that are not in database, banners, for example.

Thankyou again in advance.

Hello again.

I see the banners because I have already changed the path in the system administration module (banners). (I changed "localhost" to my server name).

But I don't see images fron a custom block. The image is hosted in uploads directory.
When I ask for image properties (right click on the red cross image place), I see that the url of this image has the path with "localhost", so, I don't see it.

Where can I change the path for images that are hosted in upload directory?

Thankyou again and excuse my bad english.

OK.

I found a solution.

I have edited the custom block template im admin/blocks.
I have changed "localhost" for my local server name, and IT WORKS!!

Thanks.
