Hi
Before install it, I need to know which is the better one module to create pages into my xoops's site: myEdito 0.7 or mypage?
Anybody knows both of them?
Thanks

myEdito is not the same as Edito - the first gives users permissions to create their own pages, the second is for an admin to create pages (as far as I understand it, I haven't used them myself).

myPage isn't a module as such, it's a way of building a module around an existing html page. So if you already have a html page which you'd like to display as if it was a separate module, then you can follow the instructions in the faq which explains how to get it to work.

Hope that clears it up a bit... though the best way to discover which is the better solution for you is to try them both yourself.

Thanks rowdie.

I want to create pages as admin, so I understand that I need Edito. I founded it and I donwloaded it.

But I have another comparative question: Edito is better than wfsections or icontent to create pages?

Thanks again

I am interested in any opinions on this, too.

Opinions are like bellybuttons... Everyone has one and they are all different. I believe rowdie hit it on the head. The *only* true comparision is the one *you* perform. What is good for me, may not be good for you.

Personally, I run a local testing server using IBServer. This allows me to test various modules, themes, or whatever in a controlled environment, which prevents jepordizing my production sites.

You may want to take a look at this approach.

Every module has is specific pro's and cont's.
There isn't a better or less better module.....All depends on YOUR personal needs and in how you want to present your content.
Some ppl need full features, other less....
The only way to see what module fits your needs is by testing and exploring yourself....
Have fun!
