Hello, I have a new working installation, with one strange problem. All the links are missing for the menu items. For example, I click "Headlines" and the link is " .../xoops/modules/xoopsheadline/ " so I go to a directory type page and must then click the "index.php" file. I think these are the "sublink.names" ??? Why would these all be missing and where can I configure or correct this in the database ???

Thanks much.

You need to change a setting in your server config. It's not XOOPS, it's your server you need to look at.

If you can't find the setting, tell us what server you run and there should be someone here who can point you in the right direction.

duh - I never thought of that and hadn't run across the situation before. It was my Apache configuration. I guess most ISP's take care of this, but mine was a local install.

It's in httpd.conf - I added "index.php" and am good to go:

# DirectoryIndex: sets the file that Apache will serve if a directory
# is requested.
#
DirectoryIndex index
.html index.htm index.shtml index.php index.cgi

Thanks rowdie!
