I have used CJ content and XT conteudo to insert HTML in to my website. The pages go in fine and i can view them by selecting them from the main menu, however there are a couple of problems.

If i view any pages all the text in the menu's change colour and looks really scrappy.

Also, the html file has anchor links that point to various sections of the html file and these dont work when inserted in my XOOPS site.

Does anyone have any ideas why these things might be happening?

(sorry to post this here but I am a noob and I never get a response in the module section)

Do the files that you are inserting have a css file attached to them, or have styles hard coded into the file itself. If so that will affect your layout.
