Help! Upgraded to 2.0.9.2 now "Remember Me" won't work!

Hello all,

as above, i've upgraded from 2.0.7.3 to 2.0.9 final with the "Remember Me" hack working great. However, now that i have upgraded to 2.0.9.2, the hack doesn't work anymore. :( The option to check the box is still there, however, when i close the window and i open my site again, it will prompt me to login again. Anyone knows what is wrong or how i can solve this problem?

you will need to redo the hack again as the update replaced some of the files.. you can either do it manually yourself or wait for GIJOE to release an update of his hack for 2.0.9.2..

I went through the same thing. it helps if you write down the hacks you are using and what files are affected. Then you'll know which hacks or modules will need attention after an upgrade of any kind.

I see that you run a car portal. Good luck with it, XOOPS is great for these sites. For a different syle and audience (older) you can peek at minehttp://www.solocanada.ca &http://spda-online.ca

Can I ask which Spotlight you are using? Is "Featured Article" a stock News block or part of the Spotlight? Do you like CatAds? How about xDirectory? questions...

Donxoop, That featured article block in the newsmodule looks like something i once made for someone here @ xoops.org forum. I made a block where 1 article could be selected as a feature or breaking news article. (including the option to show only the first paragraph or the entire article) it’s a simple piece of code, if you want it I can probably dig it up, must be somewhere on my pc

Thanks, I might be interested. I now have some ideas for my next theme.... 4 columns is usually not what I want but the illusion of having Lcenter blocks inside a Ccenter block like an upside down L gave me ideas... I think the modules and blocks I already have can be tweaked to do what I'm thinking....
