yes i wish it could be done too, i know i said i cud put up $100 US for development, but due to circumstances now (i quit my job due to differences of opinions and the fact that i was having to do everything myself and had no social life) i can't get hold of that cash at the mo.. and going back to college after 10yrs isn't helpin me financially at the mo.. but if i can help in any way whatsoever with this module creation, then let me know.. all we need is a programmer who can devote the time to do it (that's the hard part as i know myself how time consuming these things can be)

I want to add a few things to this module like venues, dj's, kj's and a "event / manager calendar" to the already long list. I want this to be able to use some sort of "hook" system so it can be tied into news and other modules.

I need most of the ideas already on this site...

I think he'd still be willing if one of you guys could figure out the trick.

@ dlh, script_fu, and others,
I have a few questions because I am interested in building something like this.

Why can't you install individual modules to produce all the results you want on 'one website'? Why do all features need to be in 'one module'?

If you could combine XOOPS modules and features from modules to create a new module, which modules and module's features would they be?

Of course - their could be multiple modules.

Say a media module, band page module, etc.

I'm not sure what modules those would be though.

Maybe some combinations of these:

Ok £500 to do the whole lot from start to finish,

£100 up front and the rest on completion and you will have a module you will all want =)
