Need Help With Intro Template

How do I edit the index template for the intro page when people first get to the site. I see that there are templates for all the module pages but what about the first intro page. Your help would be great. Thanks.

If, in
Admin Preferences Main »» General Settings
you set
Module for your start page
to
None
your first page is completely handled by whatever is in your current theme's theme.html and by manipulating Top Page in Blocks Administration.
