News module problem

Okay, here goes:

1. I submit News.
2. I go into the Admin menu and activate the news article.
3. The article fails to appear.
4. I update the News module, thinking it might be a bug which might have been fixed by now.
5. The article appears.
6. I repeat steps one and two.
7. The article fails to appear.
8. I update the News module again.
9. The article appears.

I think you get the idea. Help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You haven't got a cache period set for the News module have you? If you're unsure, check in System Admin\General Preferences, scroll to the bottom, and ensure the News module is set to 'No Cache'.

Other than that, I'm a little unsure?
