i dont know how to describe it so i took a screenshot:

http://www.ms-2001.de/temporary/menu.jpg

on the left u can see how the menu should look like (works in each module expect for xcgal). on the right u can see how it lloks like when xcgal is loaded.

i found out the xcgal is using an additional css file. but even if i remove that one, the style of the menu stays killed :-/

any idee what causes that problem?
(its not just with my design, i also saw the problem on other sites but it disturbs me...)

Instead of the css file, post an actuall link, so we can see for ourselves, what is happening. The screenshot isn't sufficient, as it covers what might be pushing the menu down.

Hydr0's problem is due to the date appearing on the front page! You notice this, as it is one of the last loading. I believe, it incerts an unnecessary linebrake after the date script. It might help if you delete the paragraph tag, and (actually) place the span tags around the clock script incert.

I would still say the problem is not xcgal specific. I have other modules which causes the same problem. And yeah its probably because of the way mozilla/firefox handles certain html tags.
This hasnt' been a problem to me before, but i think i should look into this matter sometimes soon.
will update you if i happen to get an answer.
