At my site, www.crazy4angie.com, all my blocks have vanished! The menu, everything is gone! I managed to get into the menu by luck, and I saw that all the blocks were gone! :(

I tryed php debugging, and now it doesn't even open anymore! It's vanished!

I'm just experiencing the same problem, a couple of hours after actually first reading your post.

Have you got C-JAY Content installed?

I am pretty sure it has to do with this module.

It somehow seems to mess with the block menu entries. I just haven't figured out yet, where, what exactly is happening.

This is a screen shot of my Block Admin section, displaying the C-JAY Content part, with a string that doesn't belong there. I am guessing, the script inserted this string into the database, which screwed up the menu block settings.

I'll get back, as soon as I have found out more.

No, I don't have any of that content installed. Just the basic XOOPS system and the Xoopsgallery




edit: I just turned my site off in preferences, and everything was suddenly visible again! But when I go to the admin panel I get the "This is your first time to enter the administration section. Press the button below to proceed." message.


What's causing that msg?

edit2: now it's gone again, but I can still view all pages

Well, I guess we both stumbled accross the Dark Side Of XOOPS.

My blocks are still gone. only the center (main) block is visible.

I've set the visibility on and then back on, to no avail. I changed ranks, and all kinds of settings, back and forward, haping that it may do something. But NO. The templates are fine, the theme template is fine, the database files are all there and fine, ...

BUT in my block admin, everything is set to visible. Confirmed by checking the DB tables.

I would be very glad if someone could give me any advice, where to look!

If y use MySQL debug I obtain this error

Thank you for running a debug. It tells me that the server has no rights to create temp files. Make sure that you have a directory named 'tmp' under your /home directory and that the MySQL user has rights to it (or set to 777). This is outside of XOOPS and will give you errors on any app using MySQL.
