Dear Ali

There are no setup guidelines for the config files when you're using Xoops, It's just works fine with defaults. But I'll gonna give it another go.
Could you please give us the version numbers of your php, MySQL and apache, so I can have a deeper look into things?

Have you looked into you log files of the webserver?
