I would like to thank folks for their responses to this post. As a newbie to XOOPS I too was wondering just what advantages and differences there were to using WF Sections over the included News Module and XFSections. I noticed that the WFSections site has been down. Does this mean the new release is coming out very soon? I hope.

The WF site is not down, it's just been re-homed though:

There has just been a simlar Question:

What is WF-Sections used for?

The best way of finding out, is to install the modules, have a play and see which one suits you best, for your needs and requirements.

Oh yeah, I saw that. I was actually responding to that topic but hit 'new post' instead.

And it's not the site that is down. It seems that when you try to download WFSections you get an error message.

Yeah, it was my Opera browser that was having the problem downloading the file. When I used IE to download it worked fine.

So far the program looks really POWERFUL!

Is there a Help or userguide included with it?
