Simply I want to create the ultimate community site for all people, with Xoops.

I have used XOOPS a few time before (not currently though) and am highly impressed with it.

I have always wanted to make a community site that has a lot of visitors, and I feel XOOPS would be the best CMS to use (and it's free :).

What I mainly want to do now is get many XOOPS users to help make the ultimate community sie. We'll install many modules, add heaps of smilies/avatars, get visitors, have a great design, and write general articles about stuff.

Positions Needed:
-3 Admin (including myself) - These guys control everything
-5 Moderators - just moderate the forums, and add new forums etc
-10 Article writers - occassionally write articles
-5 Designers - design new themes for the site (and integrate them)
-Everyone - advertisers

Benefits:
-advertisement on this site for any other of your own sites/affiliates
-possibly pay in the future

The name will be DailyMoo.com (which I registered a while ago).

Great enthusiasm David, great to see

Only thing I see perhaps being a little bit of a hinderance for you is that most of the people on this site are already heavily involved in their own projects. I have my doubts there are that many with enough spare time, and/or are prepared to invest the effort into this project with you. Not saying don't try, just saying don't take it personally if you don't get flooded with people contacting you wanting to help.

It's the bain of every webmaster. Establishing and designing a website, creating content, and building a community is a huge and thankless task. Build it and they will come

Yeah, I know. It'll be hard to get staff, that is why I am promising everyone, this will work. There is no doubt in my mind that this won't succeed (if I get the right staff). Trust me. Please.

What kind of articles are you looking for? Given that I do tend to have a bit of time on my hands when I'm not at work, I might be able to help you out every now and then. It just depends on all of the circumstances.

Since the articles won't be a major part of the site, they can just be about anything. If you hear something interesting, want to review a good product, you just write about it. No boundaries really (just no dirty stuff :) ). And you wouldn't need to write much, just when you feel like it.

Ah ha. I've been throwing around the idea of doing something like that, but never gotten around to actually doing it. Maybe I can come up with some bad movie reviews for you sometime. I'll try to keep them PG-13, as I do tend to try to do with my own sitehttp://www.badmoviereview.com
