Agenda-X v2.1.1 Upcoming 30 day events block (Duplicate events listed)

I have installed Agenda-X v2.1.1 and my repeat events show up multiple times in the Upcoming 30 day events block.

The block also displays events in the past? Why?

Hi,

I have the same problem, so you are not the only one.

But just a note, do not expect to get an answer on bugs reported on AgendaX, at least not from the developer... The developer usually do not respond. But maybe this "duplicate problem" is fixed in the next version?!

It's really a greate module, but some feedback and replies from the developer would be very welcome. I strongly believe that bugs is not reported because some people like to be mean, they are reported because the concept (the module with it's features) is getting even better by fixing the problems!

So I hope the developer (wjue) will keep up with the good work with AgendaX!

I have a partial fix for the repeating events problem, see this forum post for details.

This fix does not handle the events in the past issue. The problem (as I see it) is that repeating events are being displayed with the date that starts the repeating sequence, not the date of the next repeat. The logic to correctly display the events is in the module, we just need to find it and hack it into the upcoming events block.

Hi everyone!

wjue has allowed me to help with the development of Agenda-X. We will be releasing a new version in the next few weeks with some major enhancements. If you would like to get a snapshot to play with (please don't use it on a production system and then complain if it eats your data), just PM me. I'd like to flush out bugs like this if they still exist in the development code.

I'm also interested in feature requests. I won't promise anything (we are all pretty busy, I suppose and I don't want to slow the next release with too many features), but we'll certainly consider your requests.
