Re: Flexible Forms - STORED IN DB WITH REPORTING

it sounds like your php installation has the php setting ALLOW_URL_FOPEN disabled.

Should therefore work by switching this to the local path to the file:

readfile(XOOPS_ROOT_PATH."/uploads/survey/".$outcome);

Thanks, Ackbarr - will be fixed

I have also located a bug in the email sending code - will also be fixed.

my community website requires a survey system, where anonymous users can submit their survey and duplicate entries (i think) can be prevent through the stored ip.

i come across to this thread, which i think your survey system will fit my requirement perfectly, mith. got it installed, manage to produce the survey, however i got problem in getting the result (i can't get the result in the exported output and some question type results in error output file). should the export function be functional already (the current version 0.4 i downloaded) or you are still working on it, mith?

just wondering, have you got any improvement to the latest one?

thanks.

Re: Mith's/JKP's Survey System

I am in a final debugging phase at the moment. I have had some troubles with the reporting, but got it working properly at my local test installation. Now I "just" need to verify that it is working as it should on a proper webserver.

Expect 0.5 out later today or tomorrow.

great news mith
i want to use this module for many cases.
1- survey: using as a poll module but there is no block so how can i put it somewhere in the site?
maybe its possible to put survey link in a block ( php block) but i dont try that.

2- quizz: i want take some exams with this module because it is flexible and allow users to put their answers.

3- contact: by default its very functional for this case
i will be very appreciated if you get me some advise about doing these in correct way.
thanks in advance

Re: Mith's/JKP's Survey System

Version 0.5 beta is now available.

Reporting *should* work - I had it working on my local 2.0.9 install, but not on another server running 2.0.7.3 until I figured out that I used something only available in a newer Smarty version available in 2.0.9 and not in earlier XOOPS versions. Made a work-around and it should work on both 2.0.7.3 and 2.0.9+

There were also some element types that gave the wrong reply, but that should also work now.

Thanks for testing it.
