Though I dint get time to install the book module but I am very much intersted to first check how you are working out on Books Table and specially the way you are fetching ISBN database. Are you using .pl code or xfront XML schema for ISBN number ?

My website http://www.123ecominfo.com ISBN no. is 0072231467 and I try to find it out its recored from your website book module search box but with no results? Are you working on this ?

Hot or Not is also a excellent features you have added, congrats, good work.

@people who want quiz module >> search for a module called "quizz" on this forum. My quiz module is just a modified version of that.

@admin features in books >> whoops! i completely forgot about this. I'm working on it now.

@shivaja >> the books module uses ASIN numbers from Amazon, not ISBN. Also, I have it set to only search for books.

I am not sure but I thought amazon use both ISBN/ASIN for books. anyway, i will install this module and will let you know. Thanks !

Perhaps they do? I'm not sure...but the documentation for the Amazon search is a function that asks for either a keyword or an ASIN number...

hey parody,

i installed book module and read post later that admin was not complete. oops!

anyway, when i installed the mod the db tables were created as xoops_xoops_books_... i edited the sql.txt to correct this, but on unistall it naturally looked for xoops_xoops_. , so i removed manually.

i really like the module and am eager to get completed version.

I updated it to have an admin section where you can add books.

As for the prefix injection problem, I don't quite know how to withdraw the default prefix info from xoops. Someone want to fill me in?
