I would sincerely hope that this isn't a game to anyone here and I definitely think we need some *new* blood joining the ranks of the experienced few.

But, I'm not a dev, so I'll leave it to the Dev's to hash out.

I'm just glad to see communication again!

IMHO You are always welcome as others.i even send some emails to some old XOOPS members and show them the way to join again.

That I can understand. But what are your suggestions ? If you are convinced that this is not the good path, please explain your solutions. What I'm reading in this thread is complaints, but I don't see any solutions.

You are an awesome developer. You have many, many skills that can be useful to our project. Help us making it better ! Help us making it the way it should be !

Hi, IMHO team leaders should be people with experience, and team members should be really-fresh-blood.

I know it is very hard topic. But witout trying we wont achieve anything. Maybe it is the chance to make something and we should not waste it by talking...

2/ The team should be more opened to truly new people like mboyden

Today I received many emails from some people, who still don't dare to talk (ask yourself some questions ...) and who were asking me the same question I was asking to myself, will it REALLY change ?

These are very positive suggestions.

IMHO, an Open Source Team is a Team of peers. Each member of the team should have equal say.

I too think we need some new blood adding a new perspective to Core Development. If we are truly going to move XOOPS forward into being a CMS for the 21st century, new, fresh ideas are needed.
