what did you change those three lines to?

HELP!!

i have just turned debug mode on for PHP Code and here is the error code:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\public_html\modules\sstatus\class\service.php on line 123

What does call to a member function on a non-object mean?

I changed it to the follow:

define('_SSTATUS_OPTION1', 'Ready');
define('_SSTATUS_OPTION2', 'In Progress');
define('_SSTATUS_OPTION3', 'Finished');

Did you ever figure out how to fix this problem? I see this module is about3 years old and I am just amazed that a pile of crap programming like this ever made it to a website. I use the bugfix indicated in the forum, however that just causes another error to appear in its place. At this point it looks like this module is dead and the author doesnt really care. I cant believe the audacity of the devs tho to put out version 1.1 and claim it has all the fixes ppl have complained about. It has the SAME errors, nothing changed! wth! 3 years and noone has bothered to upload a fixed version of this module? Thats it. Im tired of working with a dead portal project. Im going to Drupal.
