with a couple simple javascript hacks you can support alpha transparency for IE users as well.

Look at the iepngfix.js script in the xhelp module, or IE7 - a project to add missing functionality to IE.

Thanks for the tip, there are a lot of hacks to add apha support to IE, but what happens when the user disables JS, still why should we have to hack for microsoft.
I like the IE 7 added functions to IE I will have a look at that one, I wish some of the functions were removed from IE sometimes though
