I am in need of a dark medieval theme. My website is http://exiledmud.org/ . We have 20 banners set to load at random, but they look funky on the default theme we are using. I looked in the themes library and have not found anything that matches the type of theme we need. My email is deathcored29@yahoo.com . If anyone knows of a theme or a place that has it for download, please let me know.

Thanks

Have you taken a look at the LOTR v2 Theme I created?

It's not quite a medieval theme, but close. Its a tribute theme for Lord of the Rings. If you have a large medieval looking graphic you can set as the background, it would be suitable for your site.

Hope this helps.

Take a look at this Theme Library. It has most of the XOOPS themes there on display (though you can't download them directly from the site). You might like the Warcraft theme. the LOTR theme and a few others.

Have you thought about getting a professional looking custom theme for your site? It may cost money but will be somewhat original and you can get exactly what you want.

Can you suggest someone who is familiar with designing themes for xoops? And does above average work.

I have experience making XOOPS themes. If you are interested in ordering a XOOPS theme design you can contact me at azul77@gmail.com

I can make themes from any PSD Template file. I don´t do logos nor do I create flash. I have +100 PSD templates where you can choose from or you can send me the PSD file of your own.

Here is my site which is under construction at the moment but there you can see a selection of templates I have that I can convert to XOOPS themes, there are other designs I can get depending on the subject of your site.

I have finally gotten around to uploading the LOTRv2 on my main website. I have also loaded it on my testsite, which is in hiatus until XOOPS 2.2.3 has more support and more of the modules I like are created for it. However, your theme looks great on both sites. I am having a slight problem getting rid of that upper corner XOOPS logo. I deleted it, tried to put one in of my own and it always comes back. But thats ok, I have all weekend to figure it out. Anywaays thanks for the recomendation, it is a great looking theme.

To replace the XOOPS logo with your own, look for the following line in theme.html and replace logo.jpg with your own logo filename [ex: mylogo.gif]

<td id="headerlogo"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/"><img src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>logo.jpg" alt="<{$xoops_pagetitle}>" border="0" />a>td>

Then empty the templates_c directory of your website. That will make sure that your site is not using the cached version of theme.html

I'm working on testing all my 2.0.x themes on 2.2.x and will be updating them as needed. I may also integrate the new Date/Usermenu/Search/ bar into all the old themes for the 2.2.x versions as well. Check back at MyWebResource when you're ready to make the switch to XOOPS 2.2.x. Hopefully, by then I'll have all my themes ready for 2.2.x.

BTW... Thank you for the compliment! That theme is my personal favorite.

Best Regards,

James

Putting
LOTRV2
into the XOOPS searchbar at the top of this page gives two responses -- your request here and the download site.
